Affiliate disclosure

Last updated: October 22, 2026

The short version: Ruff Budget is supported by readers. When you click a link on this site and buy something, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra.

Amazon Associates

Ruff Budget is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Other affiliate programs

We may also take part in affiliate programs run by other retailers and brands (for example pet retailers or affiliate networks). Links to those sellers may earn us a commission too.

What this does and doesn't change

• Commissions never change the price you pay.
• We pick products because we think they're fun, useful or both, not because a brand paid us. If we ever publish sponsored content or receive a free product, we will say so clearly on that page.
• We don't make up reviews, ratings, or statistics, and we don't list prices because they change. Always check the retailer for current price and details.
• Product names and trademarks belong to their owners. Ruff Budget isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the brands shown unless we say so.

We follow the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and testimonials, which is why you'll see a short disclosure near every "Check price" button and in the footer of every page.
